Visual artist, Joëlle Isnardon was born in Paris where she lives and works.
She started exhibiting her work in 1999, and has since participated in numerous solo or group exhibitions, in different cities in France, Switzerland, Italy as well as in London and Brussels.
Paris, Woman and Femininity inspire her creations which are expressed in the form of sculptures, bas-reliefs or installations, using multiple materials, from glass to paper, including painting, photography, metal and other recovered materials.
Passionate about theater, in 2016 she created the Compagnie Faire-Plaît, which produced the plays she wrote, in various Parisian theaters. She also collaborates on musical projects.
I have always been fascinated by Corto Maltese, the enigmatic and dark sailor of Hugo Pratt, his travels and his poetic universe. I dedicated a series of collages enhanced with watercolor to him.
