This period of confinement was transformed into a creative residency in pairs for Christine Vannier and Nicolas guillemot, mother and son.
Each day, the two artists escaped by working on a series of new works.
It is a tribute to the origins of photography and film, but above all an invitation to step outside the box, to leave room for imagination and abstraction. Such a rare and precious space.
At the border between embroidery, painting, photography and drawing, the prints were all exposed to sunlight before being meticulously worked by hand by the artists.
Technique: cyanotype, thread, Indian ink.
