Thierry K

Born in 1989 in Brobo "Ivory Coast". He lives and works in Pontoise val d'Oise (France).

Graduated from the technical center of applied arts of Bigerville where he trained in mural painting and expressionism between 2006 and 2009.

Ivorian nationality since childhood, he lived in Abidjan, Thierry.k's career began at the end of his training following group exhibitions.

Influenced by the renaissance and the pop art rising from Picasso, Leonard de Vinci, César Baldaccini…

In 2013 when he arrived in France, a series of attacks broke out, the artist took the brush to address the drama and terror, the separation and the absence of his two parents. Through recycled materials (vertically, cardboard, board, cardboard tube, acrylic, natural pigments) he creates compositions inspired by Art Brut.
